- Supervised the development of a weather and evapo-transpiration model for Hawaii Island, resulting in software that optimizes species-site placement remotely
- Has done pioneering work in forest stewardship and restoration for Kamehameha Schools and Queen Emma Land Company
- Coordinated the events that led to the first successful FSC-certified forest in the State of Hawaii
- Earned a Bachelor of Science in Forest Management from the State University of New York Syracuse with a minor in business from Syracuse University

Willie Rice, Harvesting Manager

- Over 10 years of forestry experience
- Serves as the company's spatial information manager.
- Creates GIS databases for forestry projects, incorporating remote sensing analysis.
- Prior to his NZ appointment as the General Manager of Forest Solutions Pacific, he evaluated influences of edaphic infrastructure and climate factors on biomass production along the Hamakua Coast of Hawaii.

Kirk Derasin, Senior Operations Forester

- Over 10 years of forestry experience
- Operations Manager for our largest client's day to day activities, including managing two technicians and their crews
- Project manager for native plant reforestation
- Experience installing PSP and monitoring plots and subsequently recording the data
- Crew leader during culturally significant Pu'ukohola Heiau historic site restoration

Dustyn Hirota, Operations Forester
